Vehicle length, width, height and weight affect the service assessment. State whether the unit starts, drives, steers and brakes, and disclose modifications, damage or special handling requirements. Non-running units need explicit acceptance and may require another shipping method.
The required export and import documents depend on the origin, destination and vehicle status. Provide available ownership or commercial documents and accurate identification details through the agreed operational channel. The importer should verify destination eligibility before shipment.
Battery condition, vehicle type and carrier-specific restrictions can affect acceptance. Disclose electric, hybrid or alternative-fuel characteristics at the enquiry stage. Do not assume a route accepts a vehicle because another carrier or port has accepted it previously.
Compare service availability, total charges, cargo condition and loading requirements. A container may suit some routes or multiple units where safe loading and securing are feasible. We review both options where available rather than treating one mode as universally better.
