Export positioning and port handover
Export haulage starts with the empty-container collection and loading plan. We coordinate the requested movement around the container release, loading location, cargo readiness and terminal receiving window. Confirm who will load and secure the cargo, how long loading will take and when the container must reach the port.

Match the truck to the container and cargo
Provide the container size, type, quantity and gross cargo weight. Road access, turning space, loading equipment and site restrictions can affect the transport arrangement. Reefer, heavy or out-of-gauge movements require a specific review, including any power, handling or routing needs. Equipment availability and acceptance are confirmed for the individual movement.

Plan release, waiting time and empty return
A delivery plan needs more than a truck appointment. Confirm document readiness, terminal release, the unloading window and the designated empty-return location. Ask which waiting, storage or additional-trip charges could apply and how available free time affects the plan. Costs outside the agreed transport scope should be clarified before dispatch.

Can haulage be quoted separately from ocean freight?
Yes. Send the collection and delivery details and explain which transport legs you need. The quotation will identify the agreed haulage scope separately from other shipment services.
Do you arrange empty-container collection and return?
These movements can be included in the agreed scope. Provide the equipment release or return instructions, nominated depot and required timing so the arrangement can be assessed.
Is customs clearance included in container haulage?
Only when it is expressly included in the quotation. Customs clearance and terminal release must be coordinated with the responsible parties before collection.
What information is needed for heavy or reefer containers?
Provide the container type, gross cargo weight, route and site restrictions. For reefer cargo, also explain power requirements during transport and at the receiving site. The team reviews the equipment and handling requirements before confirming availability.
