A cross-trade shipment moves between two countries other than the country where the arranging business is based. Lexus Container Line coordinates the ocean movement and agreed handovers through carriers and regional partners.
Suppliers, buyers, origin agents, carriers and destination teams may each hold part of the shipment information. We bring the route, cargo readiness, document requirements and handover responsibilities into one operational plan. The cargo does not have to pass through Singapore.
Agree who provides shipping instructions, who receives documents and who is responsible for charges at each end. Shipper, consignee and cargo information must remain accurate. Any requested document change requires review and cannot be assumed available or acceptable.
Available routings may include a direct service or an intermediate hub. Assess connections, cargo acceptance and destination requirements alongside price. A hub connection can expand route options, but schedules and handling exposure need to be understood before booking.
Provide the actual origin and destination, the cargo and equipment, the trading parties’ roles, cargo-ready date and required service scope. We can then assess carrier options and identify the information each local partner needs.
